do you have HomeBrewChannel installed? if so the neogammo r6 files goes into the sd card in the folder called wad. Open up HBC and it should appear.

Also make sure the neogammar6 is a wad file.

All you should have to do is copy the Neogamma folder to the apps folder that's on your SD card you use for homebrew channel. Then you have to run Neogamma from Homebrew Channel.

You download the homebrew channel version, it will not install to your Wii as a channel. If you want a channel you need to find a forwarder to install, the forwarder will install as a channel and run Neogamma from your SD card so you don't have to run homebrew channel all the time. Or you could find a Neogamma wad file that will install Neogamma to your Wii as a channel.

Ignore the sourcecode folder, you haven't a use for it.

    on my sd card i have a folder named 1. cIOS_Installer, inside it has 4 files, 1 is cIOS36_rev7-Installer.dol and a boot.dol files , also icon.png and meta.xml files,

do i replace the full 1. cIOS_Installer folder with cIOS38_rev13b-Installer folder, as it only has a boot.dol file inside

cIOS38 rev 13 (not 13b) is recommended for Neogamma, but cIOS38 rev14 just came out today, you may want to try that one. cIOS36 rev7 is outdated, that one was used with Backup Launcher Gamma 0.3

Same thing here, copy the entire folder to your apps folder and it should show up in Homebrew Channel. If you copy a folder to apps folder and it don't have a boot.dol file in it then Homebrew channel wont recognize it. Even though all the files are named boot.dol, they are different. Don't ever remove the boot.dol from it folder, you may get them mixed up.
