Problem: Discs Don't Always Work

I have a NTSC wii and I have recently modded it using the guide here:

Most of the games that I burn using imgburn at 4x using DVD-R discs work fine. However, some games such as Brunswick Bowling and My Fitness Coach don't always work. I tried running My Fitness coach two days ago and it wouldn't run, as it stays at the black screen. Yesterday, I ran the game again and it worked. Today, it stays at the black screen like before. What is the problem with this? This also happens with Brunswick Bowling as well.

What discs are you using to backup your originals? Verbatim or Taiyo yudin DVD-R I hope.

You could consider using SD/USB GX Loader or similar and run all games from Hard disc.

sounds like it could be your brand of dvds since we don't know what they are and where they are manufactured
