I recently found this tutorial on youtube showing me how to downgrade my wii from 4.1 to 3.2 (3.2 being the best version for homebrew).

I'm new about hack mi Wii.
I currently have a wii with V4.1U, I'd like to know if i can downgrade to 3.XX, without homebrew installed, because of I'm trying install this on mi wii but, every time when I'm click on tab SD, in the wii channel, mi wii stock on the moment, may be I can downgrade the version or I need other hack for V4.1U, help me, Thanx

Users be aware that if you downgrade to 3.2 from 4.0 or 4.1 and then subsequently upgrade using a disc update you have a very good chance to brick your Wii.
I do not want to see any of you whining in the Bricked Issues forum next week ok.

Thanks for that Alexander but that'll just go to black screen if the game actually required an updated IOS.
Loads of people downgrade all the time, it's just that some do it because the think they need to when they don't, then when they have trouble running some games they think the way forward is a game update.
i am getting an ret error is says for the cmdvdx that maybe uve alrdy run this sends me back to hbc. So i thought i had it tried second part says ret error 2011 the first thing had something to do with a tiket is that why the second part isnt working
I disagree with this thread;
1 - HBC is good with all versions.
2 - Be fairly warned it can brick your Wii.
If you have 4.1 and HBC then leave it alone.
when i load the cmdvdx34/boot all it says is "it seems to me that you are a pirate. bye...

Rich, delete all other things off your SD card. It's picking up on all the pirate stuff you have on your SD card.
