This should help to uninstall BootMii
To remove homebrew and all of that good stuff, just do a regular update. Preferably one that you can downgrade to when you get it back.Code:http://forum.wiibrew.org/read.php?24,19818,19818
no clue what he meant but whatever it was, it was wrong. Ignore it.
so how am i supposed to uninstall all hombrew correctly?
Yes thats exactly what I meant, downgrade to like 3.4, send it in, when it comes back, reinstall TP hack and you should be all set. The reason I am telling you this, you will run into some threads sooner or later about a couple of retards who upped to 4.0 in order to send their Wii in for service before 4.0 could be hacked, so of course, they got their Wiis back and couldnt do sh*t with them.
So dont up to 4.1 to show Nin10do you do regular updates and have no clue whats wrong. For example, there are 2 releases for a hacked 4.1 sys menu and they both have high bricking possibilities, so why up to the latest menu and get your Wii back with a dash you cant safely hack? Just a precaution.
You can ignore it if you like, I dont make or lose anything for helping.
TBR has a "high bricking possibility" on 4.1? Show me that thread please. Otherwise, stop spreading false info.
All he needs to do is follow a guide. Anytitledelete his cios's, then remove all his channels.
Telling a guy to downgrade 'n such is more trouble than it's worth. And TBR will *NOT* BRICK 4.1. That's completely 110% without a doubt wrong.
So ya, i'm sure your "i googled it" search is amazingly accurate. I'm definitely one of the people on this site that should really be using google more often to get his info. If there's one thing I'm guilty of, it's not knowing my homebrew scene. And I agree that some random mod for a 3.x system on a LU64+ 4.1 may not work out so well.. but again.. just quit. Quit. Stop. Quit. Seriously. quit. just shhhh.. it's okay.. shhh
Now I see how you got a lot of posts:eek:
Anyway amigo, using Anytitledeleter means you have to use HBC or preloader to boot it, right? That means Anytitledeleter will up the board menu but not remove HBC. Oh wait, he said delete the channel. You could but when they run diagnostics and there is still this crazy little thing stored in the memory, guess what, you get your Wii back and a bill for shipping with a nice letter. Oh wait wait, Nin10do doesnt know about brew, do what he said.
Hahahaha, I got a lot of posts, listen to me!:p
Get your hands on an official update so EVERYTHING goes back to OEM.
