Thread: Wii Sports Resort PAL 001 error/ Green Screen or Black Screen FIX

I just doubled checked to make sure my TV only does NTSC... and PAL Wii Resort works on it. Stop the BS saying it does't work. IT WORKS WITH THE RIGHT SETTINGS... PERIOD!!!

Just wondering if you by any chance got Sam and Max season1 PAL to work passed the chapter selection menu without a system reboot.You seem to be good at these things its the only game i can't get to work on DVD or USB

That is like the only game besides Sim City builder or crap. I have had trouble with. I get that reboot to, which shocks me. It's the only game that loads and then reboots you!
Hmm I ran into that game a few days ago because I didn't label it, but Im trying to remember if I use NeoGamma with it..I know I havent for that sim city game yet..which I think I may try again.

With the Right settings as I and Fusion has stated, just like for Ghost Busters, Indiana jones, wii sports resort PAL and JAP <note> Different settings for both versions
And they WORK with the right settings!

2 hrs and counting but i'm just reading into it and might wait till i get the motion plus to play it whats this about a video playing and stopping you from playing the game or is that only NTSC wii's i have a Pal wii 4.0 i would only be playing from usb loader

Yes. Because setting the output to 'Disc Default' magically switched it to an NTSC signal. It's the classic case of no means yes.

I for one feel sorry for all of europeans who went out and bought it only to discover the disc defaults to NTSC. I'm sure they're up in arms over it.

you trying to launch wii sports resort PAL version with a PAL?? but using usb loader...

if you was using the disc it prolly wont take much to load it...
Im not sure if the PAL version gives you any problems with the wii motion + movie...I know I watch it on Jap and that was more a pain then anything..but with the right settings it launch and since I got pass that part as several ppl here said you wont have to deal with the video again, but is that true is what Im pondering. All the games that involve the motion + gives you the option to see it when your at the..I want to say main page lol but yeah
after you load it its there on the top right corner to watch.

Alright lets end this once and for all....if you do not change the video mode (as in leaving it on DISC), IT WILL BE A PAL SIGNAL! Changing all the other vidtv and patch video does nothing unless you change the disc region, in this case the disc forces PAL...if you try to force this game to any other region, it WILL GREEN SCREEN...if your TV supports PAL signals, like the people who are claiming this works, you will play it normally...my old school tube tv will PLAY the game but it is black and white and larger than the tv can display...so yes it is PLAYABLE, but it is not correct! I thank you for mentioning my post and giving me credit, but this is not a fix, you changed some settings and your TV supports PAL, that is not a fix, sorry. Oh and check your info first, you do NOT need to use anti 002 fix son. default neogamma r6 settings work flawless poof

CHEERS Vash. I will drink a cold one in your name just for straightening this all out. basically Vash you would agree that this is a "bandaid" not a fix? I never said that you couldnt play this game period. But if your TV does not support pal (as mine does not) then you cant play it. I am just glad this game is coming out in the states or else I might have to learn alittle jap.
