Hi i am new to the forums and new to the softmod wii world....
I have read up alot but here's my problem...
my wii is softmod with 3.3u and it was working fine til this morning i update it to 4.1 on the offical updater.
now when i try to run homebrew channel its just black screen, i try to read the Sd card in the wii manager it show empty on the sd card not sure
what i did wrong can any one please re-direct me to the right way or help me with this problems thanks
Count yourself lucky you didn't brick your Wii running official updates.
Anyway as part of the warning when you accepted the official update it mentions something about homebrew and that it might not work after you run the update.
I'm no expert on this but I reckon when you ran the official update it damaged your installation of HBC.
Try re-installing through bannerbomb and see what happens.
thanks for the reply, i have put bannerbomb in my sd card and follow there instruction, but the problem is when i try to read it in WII SETTINGS MENU, then choose DATA MANAGEMENT, then choose CHANNELS, and CLICK ON THE SD TAB it show empty nothing happen..do you think i show reformat my sd and reload files back into it? thanks
well thanks tealc99 it work i reinstall bannerbomb and had to load all the files again but everything is back to normal.....
the only problem i have now is i still cant play punch out with the 4.1 update do i have to update cios++? which one if so...thanks
I'm surprised a little that with a 4.1 system you still cannot run Punch Out.
I'd go with cIOS 38 rev 13, that seems to do the trick for just about everything.
