USB Loader Possibility?

So I was wondering if in order to load things from a USB Loader program if you have to have just a plain old USB Hard Drive. Can you just hook your PC up to the computer and set your hard drive(s) up a certain way to load games and other homebrew that way, or do the loaders only support a single usb hard drvie hooked directly to the Wii?

Im sure a usb-sata adapter coulld work if you wanted to do it that way, a little more messy though...

Hook the computer up to the computer. From the context I think you mean could the Wii be connected directly to the PC. In which case no. Windows, nor Wii, would have any clue wtf was going on. You need to have a hard drive plugged directly into the Wii via USB.

hi i am looking into the usb loader and i only have 1 question...
i have about 100 wii games on my computer can i copy them on to the portable hard drive or can i find them via wi-fi. Just dont want to burn off 100discs and them to copy them via the wii.

hook the HD up to your PC and copy them with WBFS Manager. It'll be the fastest method.

ok so if i copy the games to the wbfs, and then install everything needed for usb loader ect... they should play even if i havent the disc..

ok i have installed everything and got a game on on my usb device via the wbfs manager, when i load the usb loader v1.5 via homebrew it starts to install but askes for the games disc. i thought u ment i didnt need the disc to install, or have i got my wires crossed.

I think you have got yourself a little confused.

If you have installed a game ISO to your portable usb hard drive using wbfs manager then you have no need to 'install' in the USB Loader. You simply click on the game you want in the listing and it'll load the game as if you'd put the disc in.

The only need for installing a game would be to load a game you already have a disc for.

a little more tricky than i thought got the game loaded with usb loader from my sd card but came up with green screen, the game works fine on my backup laucher via disc any ideas???.
i have rev 8 installed (i think)
