I hacked my virgin 4.0u wii w/ only hbc. What should i do after that. I want my wii to play any gc backup game,any wii backup game and some cheat code for both gc and wii. Should I downgrade my firmware to 3.2u or just stay with 4.0u?
Help me out. Give me some advice or some steps?
You don't need to go with 3.2. If you were to downgrade and then subsequently update via disc to 4.0 you could risk a brick, several have been reported doing this.
You need a backup launcher and a gamecube backup launcher. There are several million posts about these on Wiihacks and all over the internet, find one you like and see how you go.
I can't help you about the cheating thing, I prefer to enjoy my games.
You can stay on 4.0 and I would suggest installing BootMii before you do anything else. It can save your as* if you brick your Wii.
I recommend installing BootMii and making a NAND backup as BrownLLama said. Also try using this:
