Arrow Playing Backups, need help please

Alright guys so i have HBC already installed on my wii and ive just installed neogamma R6 with my wad manager, but i dont know wat i have to do now, cause ive been seeing stuff about ios's and i have no clue to wat that is or why u need it. so if i can get steps on how to play backup games, like burning, installing apps, or wat kind of cds nd wat speed i need, that wud be very helpful.

    1) Burning

For Burning, the most reliable choice will be ImgBurn, a freeware software.

    2) Backup Games and cIOS

Backup Loaders, the loaders for Backup Games, require a cIOS to load. You're going to need cIOS 38 Rev13a or B, the current backup loading cIOS, and they work well with the newer games as well. Note: Install it as cIOS 249.

    3) Burning

Depends on the Disc. DVD-R discs are the discs you should be using. I find that the cheaper the disc, the better it works (In most cases. I got a 25pk of Memorex DVD's, worked great). Ex: Should the disc say 16x, you must burn at 8x meaning half the speed of the disc.

    4) Apps

This is not related to backup loading, this can be done in HBC, but they're not known as Apps.

You may find the simple DOL File (Which I don't know how to install, sorry), or you may find the preferable WAD File. the WAD Files can be installed Via WAD manager.

But yeah, it's not just for cIOs'es.

WAD's can install VC and WiiWare since they come in that format as well, just DL them, install Via WAD Manager and it will function just like a real VC Game.

If that helped, press thanks for both meh posts please.

you can actually find it on this site. Search the forum for "cios 38 revb". There will be a download link in there. When you go and put it on your sd card, create a folder called cios installer and put the downloaded file in it. It will be a dol file. The put that cios installer folder in the apps folder on your cart. Pop it into the wii. Go to the HBC. Youll see cios installer so click on it so it starts up. Youll eventually get to a screen that says cios 38 revb and then next to it will have an ios number. I dont know what the default number is but youll use your D-pad on your wiimote to change it till it changed to 249. once thats changed to 249, install it and your good to go.

you have everything in the correct folder, did you change the name of the installer to boot.dol, if you don't you will not see it on HBC. Another thing, cIOS38 rev13 (not 13b) is recommended for Neogamma.

oh nvm i found a different cios inctaller.
on the installer it says that the cios will be shown as cios249, above that it says to pick a custom ios number nd the highest number is 37? is that how its supposed to be?

it's asking you what ios to use to install cios249, try 16 or 35 or 36. If you get errors with all of them try this method to get a cios
