Do you mean update, and then follow that guide? Or follow the guide before updating?

also quick glancing in one of those tuts I noticed it said

    can i update?

    * if you dont use homebrew, or play out of region at all, you can upgrade from anything and everything as of now, without a issue

    _____

The only thing I use on my wii is playing originals with the occasional backup.

Does this mean my wiigator 0.3 would still work after the update? Or is that considered part of Homebrew and will be deleted also?

And if I did this (updated) would I be able to go back and put HBC back on at a later time when I have someone who knows what they are doing with me?

Im basically trying to find a temporarily solution for the moment.... what do you think?

no and no. If you're not comfortable installing neogamma, then ignore everything else in this thread. As that is by far the easiest solution to your problem.

Do you know how to hook the SDcard up to your PC? Do you know how to copy files?

You simply need to download Neogamma. Open the zip. Then place the Neogamma folder in it into the \apps\ folder on your SDcard.

Then start your Wii, go to Homebrew channel. Click on Neogamma to load it. And then load your EA Sport Active.

Any other solution to your problem is only going to get exponentially more complicated.

ahh I didn't realize it was that simple to install the loader. Ok I'll read into it more as I thought it was going to be a lot harder than that. thx

Gim Jittum can you give me some feedback about the neogamma solution?
I have the same problem. But I followed this site Install Backup Loader 0.3 to install the backup loader.

Backup loader .3 is extremely old. The neogamma solution is quite simple. Install it.

@Ossat - i have the same issues - want to play new games without upgrading.

Can i simply install neogamma and play new games thru that? (i currently use Gamma Loader channel for back-ups and standard wii channel for new games).
Neogamma will block the update, or it's still relying on starfall? should i lose the gamma channel i'm currently using?

    cheers

    (wii ver.3.2e, hbc 1.0.1)
