    SoftMii messing up Wii!

Once I installed cios60bf.wad, it sent me off to the Preloader Screen. I edited the settings, and now it shows some messed up unlegible message that said that it's corrupted or something. Please tell me what to do, I'm sort of extremely desperate to know.

I'm running 4.0U. Sorry not to say so, I'm really anxious right now. I've bricked my Wii before and got it repaired, so if it happens again, my dad will kill me. Dunno if this is a brick actually.

semi bricked you did. i hope you backed your files on another sd card just in case of any problems. can you get into preloader and go to the homebew channel. it happened to me. so i did everything all over again. thank god for preloader. if you have sd cards use on for your files. i just format my sd card and started softmii all over again it may take some time but its worth it. you can learn your steps one by one. make sure you have bootmii installed just in case of any problems.

It says the System Menu File or something like that is corrupted, thus I cannot really do anything as of right now. I do hold the 1 button but it won't load to Preloader, and even if I did, I have not a single idea as to what to do after that.

hold down reset when you switch your wii on to get to preloader menu, then go to hbc, then re-install preloader and your sys menu will be fixed

better get practising your barking then m8! heh - its a common problem, preloader patches your ios60 when you install it - you then install another ios60 - preloader hasn't patched it so you get an error, reinstall preloader that then re patches your ios60 and your fixed!

Was I supposed to tinker with the settings? It didn't work, before it was unlegible, now the words are legible saying that the Files are corrupted.

softmii is a horrible program. i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. everything on softmii can be done without actually having softmii.

I'll do it repeatedly, I've already repeated it once.
