No clue why it's not loading. But if all you do is load your games through backup launcher, there's no absolutely no need for it. No backup launcher out will read the update partition.

So way a, not brickblocking, the update is there and will never be read by your backup launcher

the other way, brickblocking, the update isn't there, and wil lnever be read by your backup launcher.

Same difference. More work.

sorry to sound like a idiot, so just to get a solid confirmation, if i already use the wiigator backup launcher i DO NOT NEED the brickblocker program?

Do i just go into the settings and FORCE NTSC and do nothing else and it will lauch any PAL games that is looking to update via my wii that can possibly brick my wii and lauch the game without it asking for updates

is this correct?

thank you

NO launcher. So feel free to change. will READ the update. Whether you're PAL loading NTSC. NTSC loading PAL. PAL loading Jap. It doesn't matter. backup launchers do NOT read the update partition. It doesn't matter what region. They simply ignore the updates. ONLY the default Wii disc channel will read updates.

Think of it like this. A disc has a little Starting line for Updating, and a little starting line for the game itself. Your Wii disc channel starts at the Updating starting line and begins there. All backup launchers just go straight to the game and ignore the Updates section.

As for forcing, you will want to force to get it to display properly on your TV. Unless you happen to have a TV that supports PAL. But forcing has absolutely nothing to do with updates.

Dood, if there's one thing the Wii mod'ing community does, it's complicate the living hell out of everything. In every aspect, of every guide, of everything they do.

I'm surprised you weren't told to downgrade your system, install preloader and ciscocorp, upgrade to 4.0, then change regions, then downgrade, then install bootmii, then brickblock and buy a hard drive to rip the game too.
