Should I update to 4.0u and new version of Homebrew?

I already have 3.2u, Homebrew, and gammaloader installed. I can play games just fine. Should I upgrade or is it one of those things that if it ain't broke don't fix it?

The golden rule of Softmoding: If it aint broke..

Seriously. Just sit back and think about it. What the hell do you need to upgrade to 4.0 for, other than because it's a higher number?

I upgraded to 4.0e because I wanted to utilize the 16gb SDHC card I had. So yeah, if you want the latest SDHC card and to use the big one's like I do for all the save games then go for it. I used Waninkoko's patched version and not the Nintendo one!

I'm not asking this to sound like a jerk. I'm 100% genuinely curious. How much of that 16gb card are you really using? That's a metric fuck ton of saved games. Along with every homebrew app ever created. All versions. Twice over.

Metric fuck ton, I like that one! LMFAO

Nah, it's got ALL the VMware, ALL the Emulators and a lot of saved games (have 67 games on a USB drive), plus ALL files needed for HBC, ALL channels, ALL cIOS files and a "metric fuck ton" of other stuff......

I'm not sure how full it is, but it's also got ALL the box art on there for USB Loader GX and ALL the CD art as well for USB Loader GX.

I upgraded on accident before I had homebrew installed so that caused a problem but I have since been able to get everything installed I wanted to (still working on dvdx tho) and don't really have many issues. I like it just because I can use larger sd cards but with some mods you can hook a usb hd up to run games off of so that would be just as good.
