So I'm willing to try this to run NSMB and Wii Sports Resort, but I'm still curious, how would one go about returning the Wii to factory FW and "un-hacking" it?

    Hey,
I followed all the instructions, as I had the same problem.
Now, I get the 002 error, whereas, i didn't get it before, what can I do to make the 002 error go away?
Also, what file or setting makes it so that You don't have to update your wii to play wii motion plus games?

The game IOS and software of the gamke handles WM+.

#002 error is fixed by the loader usually by choosing the relevant #002 Anti/On option or whatever.

The loader provided in this thread, doesn't have any options, it just auto loads the game, and then says 002 error.
Also, doesn't it make you update your wii, possibly brick it, to play WM+ games?

Well you are following an old post. Get a newer Loader such as Neogamma, USB Loader GX etc.

No update needed. Block all updates with Priiloader's options. Probably best if you stop working from an older thread.

    Now I'm confused
By the way, i am softmodding my wii, and using 3.2 update.
Where can I get Neogamma or a newer version of backup loader?
    Also, what is priiloader?
Finally, can you give me a link to a newer thread?

There are some good tutorials in the Tutorials section of the forum, one in particular is a full softmod for 3.1-4.1 Wiis which installs HBC, cIOS, Priiloader, IOS and USB and Neogamma disc loaders. Everything you need should be there and the guides are updated regularly.
