    LU64 problem

    Hi All,

Ok I have a LU64 with 3.4U which was softmodded and was playing back up games fine. But than I installed CIOS Rev13b, and I couldn't play my back ups, don't know what happened. So stupid me went to the WII update software and updated to version 4.0U. My question is how can I play back up games again. I try the mod for the LU64/LU65 but didn't work, I keep getting black screen and can't even go in to BootMi. Could I just delete all the cios and than restart from the beginning, or what can I do to try to fix it. Thanks

EDIT: Ok, here what's happening now

I booted from the sd on the wii channel with loadmii, and than went to wad manager 1.4 did the downgrade ios35 than went back to wad manager and try to run ios36 to install ios35-64-1040 but I get stuck there doesn't go through and I have to power off and on again my wii. I did couple times and same problem happens.....

    huh?
and try to run ios36 to install ios35-64-1040 but I get stuck there
not a single bit of that even makes any sense. if you're trying to say that you downgraded your IOS35 and that it freezes when you select it in WadManager, that's typical on an LU64 with 4.0 firmware. If you installed cIOS you should just be able to use that (IOS249) from WadManager, otherwise you'll have to do the cBoot2 hack to get a working cIOS.

Actually my Wii doesn't freeze when I am downgrading to IOS35 it freezes when I go back to WAD Manager on normal settings to install IOS35.wad and I can't go further have to always restart my Wii. Even if I select IOS249 it also freezes.

Yes, that's what I mean, but 249 should be working if it's truly cIOS rev11 or higher. At any rate, your best move (what I would do in your situation, at least) is to look at Dogeggs's version of the cBoot2 Fix, and start from there.

Thanks and I followed Dogeggs's version. I was able to boot. Now when I try to Install Bootmii v2 as an IOS it gives me error -1.

EDIT: Finally I got to work, now I can play back up games with neogamma. Thanks for your help Unchained.
