Ok, after you ran bannerbomb, you did get the homebrew channel installed, right?
Ok get DVDx from HERE http://static.hackmii.com/dvdx.zip
TO install, place DVDx folder with boot.dol inside, inside the app folder of your sd card that you should make.
Go to the homebrew channel and press dvdx installer. Do a normal install.
Get Mplayer CE 0.6 DCEmu Forums:: The Homebrew & Gaming Network :: PSP Dreamcast Nintendo DS Wii GP2X Xbox 360 GBA Gamecube PS2 Apple iPhone PS3 Wiz Pandora Forums
Then place Mplayer folder with boot.dol inside into app folder. Go to homebrew channel and click on Mplayer. This application lets you play many different sorts of media form the SD, DVD or HDD.
Put your DVD in the wii and in Mplayer, go to DVD and choose play dvd.
Voila, you should no be able to play dvd's in your wii

thanks thats worked perfect i have another problem with my wii iso's they wont play i burnt them with imgburn at 3x speed and changed the drive to dvd-rom but they dont work is it possible its the disk they r dvd+rwQuote:

so there is no way to make them work on dvd+rw how do u hard mod
It doesn't sound encouraging for those DVD+RWs, go and get some DVD-R and see what luck you have.
Hard Modding involves purchasing and fitting a chip to your Wii to allow it to read Backup DVDs.
remeber u need a backup launcher 2 :DS
i so nearly bought dvd-Rw dam!!!!! ive got everything else is there anything else i need to know for burning iso's
help please i just got my dvd-r disks and my backup games r not workin getting disk read error 324 any help would be great
