    Data Management Exception Error

I just hacked my WII and probably like most people, had my share of problems. Finally however, with the help of Dogeggs and a whole lot of searching, got everything working.

I didn't have enough free blocks on the wii to save games, so I deleted one of the wiiwares which I had downloaded and that did the trick.

I then went into the SD card to see how much free blocks I had and got the message if I wanted to install. This message was from the bannerbomb hack which I had used initially to hack the wii; I had never deleted the hack files on the SD card. As I had already hacked the wii, I said no. I then saw that the SD card had plenty of memory blocks left.

I then proceeded to copy one of the two remaining wiiware games to the sd card in an effort to free up more space on the actual wii. After a successful copy, I went into the SD card and got an Exception Error. I didn't get the install message which I mentioned above, just an exception error causing me to reboot the wii. This happened twice.

    Any thoughts? Thanks

Make sure your SD card is no larger than 2gb (which i fairly sure you already have), formatted as FAT and if all else fails, format it (again) and re-copy the files on. If that doesn't work, try a different SD card. . Not sure if it'll help..but give it a try.

The SD card is 2GB. Formatted it, put the files back on (EXCEPT THE WIIWARE GAME THAT I HAD TRANSFERRED TO THE SD CARD), went into data management, SD card, channels and I got the install message (bannerbomb), so great. Now I said no to the install and I had access to the SD card. I rebooted the system, followed the same steps again, but as soon as I accessed the card after clicking on channels, I did not get the message about the install (bannerbomb), I got the exception error.

I went ahead, reformatted and put everything back on (INCLUDING THE WIIWARE I HAD TRANSFERRED TO THE SD CARD), but as soon as I accessed the card using the same method after clicking on channels, I got the exception error.

I went ahead, reformatted and put everything back on (EXCEPT THE WIIWARE I HAD TRANSFERRED TO THE SD CARD) and I was again able to access the card and receive the message about install (bannerbomb). I declined and was able to access the card. I went ahead and exited, tried to access the card again after clickign on channels and got the exception error.

    Any guesses?
