    Downgrading from 3.4U to 3.2 - IOS Downgrader froze @ DL 66

So im dowgrading from 3.4 to 3.2 in hopes of fixing my no cios error I was getting with gamma. (I have tried multiple burning speeds on multiple brands of DVD-R) But my main issue happened when I was using IOS Downgrader 1.2 and after choose 3.2U, it started downloading the packets, but it froze at download #66 while downloading System Menu v289.

I left it there to download over night but it never finished. I was able restart my wii and try it again. It downloads all previous packets, but freezes at #66

Any clues? Any other way to I could downgrade it besides IOS Downgrader1.2?

I recommend Any Region Changer. You can do the same trick as IOS Downgrader. Just make sure you select the same region you are downgrading from (i.e. 3.4u to 3.2u instead of 3.4u to 3.2e). Technically, you can do so, but you are at risk of bricking you console. I believe you will find more guides from the forum with Any Region Changer. Also, there are plenty of YouTube guides available if you google it.

Awesome. Much appreciated. I was following a "fool proof guide" but if the server that hosts the files isn't following through on the packet download, so this fool is going to have to deviate.

Thanks again for the tip about Any Region Changer. I have done so much research and come to find out 80% is from october 2008. ARGH.

Any Region Changer, did not work it came up with some errors.
    Apparently the issue is this:
"System Menu 3.4 blocks PatchMii, which is required for AnyRegion Change"

Anyone else no why my Previous Region Change using IOS Downgrader would download one of the last files?

Hmm... here is what I did which I have about the same situation before. Installed IOS 16 using wad manager v1.3 and then installed custom wad IOS36. Then I use IOS downgrader which didn't work. I remove PatchMii from my SD card. Run Any Region Changer... it came complete but with the red heart pounding message "System Menu Mismatch". Hard reset the console. Go to setting... Found it already downgrade to 3.2u

Ok, so the WAD install failed. But I have found a solution. I uninstalled my CIOS uninstaller 1.1 (tried 1.0 just in case but it errored) Then i just downloaded Softmii.

Oh my god after a weeks worth of intense research and trial and error, i cant believe more people didn't recommend this for downgrade and cios issues. solved all my issues. I'm now on 3.2 and running strong.
