    Cool PAL to NTSC

I know there is probably a guide on how to do this somewhere, but it's not easily available (on the first page of each section) so I'm making a post here.

Is there a way I can play PAL games on my NTSC console without changing my Wii's region?

Game in mind: We Rock: Drum King

    Loading method: USB Loader 1.1

Patching the ISO with RegionFrii (and then burning them) works for me on my modded Wii on PAL games that otherwise wouldn't work. It's definitely worth a shot for you to try first.

You should use USB loader 1.5 - it has better "region free" play. I've tested We Rock: Drum King PAL version (RUKPGT) via USB loader 1.5 and it plays fine on my NTSC Wii. I have to wonder if there is ever a good reason to change a perfectly working Wii's region?

If I change the ISO using RegionFrii, the game is in black and white.

For USB Loader 1.5, what should I use, cIOS Rev9, or cIOS Rev10? I have Rev9 installed right now.

Either will work but you get more features with Rev10 - specifically you can have a folder usb-loader/covers in the root directory of your SD card for cover art that you can easily download. The cover art will show when you scroll through the games in USB loader 1.5

You will also need cios usb2 - I'm sure there's a tutorial on here for this.

Is that cIOS usb2 needed? I don't remember installing it(although I may have), and my usbloader 1.5 works great. Looking thru my folder of IOSs I don't see cIOS usb2 so I guess I never installed, maybe it's built in to the SD/USBLoader.

I read someone else post they didn't need it - I tried without it and it didn't work til I added it. Go figure.

Yes, it's built in. You guys don't need cIOS USB2.0 for USB Loader. It's totally optional. My guess is for other apps but it's already build into USB loader (and has been since 1.0 :P).
