Us streaming videos from PC to Wii

    Howdy,

I have a question about how to stream your video files and other stuff from the Computer to the Wii.

I thought about using Orb but then I thought about all the privacy and how some companies say they don't collect but they do collect.

Does anyone know if something exist like this for the Wii?.

    Thanks in advance.

Theres a retail app that does it called X-oom, i've seen it on usenet so you can probably get it off a torrent. You can do it with MPlayer too but i think it needs a lot of fiddling around to get it to work...?

Thanks for the info. I did try X-oom and it worked great but my videos were not full screen per se but thats not really important and I could live with that.

Also is there a way I can connect it using SSL protocol?.

    thanks!

no reason just asking because I don't want my ISP to snoop around and I do have movies on my computer and now that the RIAA is getting cozy with the ISP, just makes me think of security.

thanks for answering all my questions.
