    watching dvds on the wii

Just need a quick confirmation. I have been reading this site about how to watch dvds on my wii:
    libdi and the DVDX installer.

So, it states in this guide that I have to "Run the installer.dol found in the package, follow the onscreen instructions, and you’re done." I'm not sure what this means specifically. Where do I put the installer.dol file and how do I install it? Via Homebrew channel, via wad manager, or where? Also it lists three download links in the url above:
    http://static.hackmii.com/dvdx.zip (for end users)
    http://static.hackmii.com/di.zip (for developers)
http://static.hackmii.com/mplayer-r27458.zip (it isn't stated who this is intended for)

do I download all three of these files or just one of them? where do I put these files after I download them? I presume I have to put them somewhere on my SD card but i'm not sure.

Here is information about my wii:
    - firmware 3.2u
    - Backup Loader Gamma with 002 Fix Built in installed
    - I softmodded my wii using the twilight hack and I have Homebrew channel with Wad manager already
    - I also have Gecko os and ocarina in my HB channel

Install 'http://static.hackmii.com/dvdx.zip (for end users)' by unzipping it and putting it in a folder in your apps directory on your sd card. Run it and it will install the dvd reading functions. Then do the same with 'http://static.hackmii.com/mplayer-r27458.zip ' this is the software you need to watch dvds.

I was just about to post that I have solved this problem and I am able to watch dvds on my wii now. As usual, thanks for the tips anyway, dogeggs!

this is the guide I used to get dvds playing on my wii:
How to play DVD movies on your Wii

or one could also do as dogeggs outlined above.

At this point, chimpy, you might as well just use WiiMC, and install IOS 202. OP was over a year ago.
