So I put the cIOS249 wad file in the wad folder also and download that one as well, correct? Also, there is a file called "preview.png" in the same folder as BackupLauncher_03g_Wiiish_v3_EN.wad (Gamma_v3_EN folder). Do I include this file in the wad folder or do I leave it alone? You didn't mention which file I download first or does it matter? I'm going to update my wad folder with the files listed here also:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/homebrew-dow...8-53-55-a.html

From now on, should I only worry about installing wad files in a specific order if it is explicitly stated or should i continue to ask about the installation order?

and you can delete the save from your wii and your sd card if you like...its done its job now and is no longer required...
delete which file(s) specifically? the two files you mention above or are you referring to the twilight hack files on my sd card? you have to be very specific, remember i'm stupid when it comes to this stuff.

also, I burned the game torrent iso i downloaded via imgburn and it is done already. The entire process took about 5 minutes. Is that normal for it to be done that fast or did I screw something up?

wait! i made a mistake, darn it! sorry, this file is already in my wad folder "cIOS249-v5.wad". do i still need to put the cIOS249 file you posted above in my wad folder? i think they are two different files but I want to be positive and not guess.

preview.png isnt needed - ignore it....it doesnt matter what order you install the files in.....i meant delete the twilight saves......and it sounds like you burnt your iso at 16x, it should take 15mins at 4x...anything else?!

one more thing, you can just say 'yes' or 'no' here. I downloaded about 30 VC/Wiiware games from here:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/games-homebr...l-console.html

I just want to confirm that I place these game wad files into my wad folder and install them all via the wad manager in HB channel, right? I can install all these game files at once at the same time as I installing the other two files you mentioned above, correct? (BackupLauncher_03g_Wiiish_v3_EN.wad & cIOS249 rev9.wad) But I'll have to keep these game wad files on my sd card and do not delete them.

Yes you can install them via your wad manager, it may be a good idea to restart after you've installed each one and you don't have to keep them on your sd card, once they are installed they are written to the wiis internal memory.

but the wii's internal memory is only a measly 512mb. with 30 games, that's not going to work, or will it...??

alright i'm moving on with the installation process again.

I was very detailed when I set out to mod my wii and my wii is working just fine now. I say that because assuming that you started out like me with a 3.3u Wii, if you retrace my steps starting from the first post I posted you should end up with a modded wii that works fine. Please try to retrace my steps and then post any questions that you have here and I'll try to answer them or I'm sure more experienced users will also pitch in.

Note: when retracing my steps please take note of how I make a habit of describing in detail what I have attempted to do to remedy my problem and what is holding me up. With that said, anytime you post here always try to show in some way that you tried to remedy whatever problem you had yourself. That way everyone can see what avenues you have already exhausted thus saving them and you more time.
