    Hi

I currently have revision 7 on my softmodded Wii. What benefits would their be from a upgrade to rev9

Rev9 has support for the usb launcher, rev8 has improvements over 7 so I'd update if I was you....the new file will overwrite the old one so it's quite painless

Dogeggs - Will rev9 come with RB2 support? Currently, I have to install 'ios37 with ios36 dip as ios249` using the multi_cios_installer to get RB2 instruments to work. I would like to update to rev9; I just don't want to loose RB2 support.

My Gamma seems to load much better in v9 than before. Rarely any read errors.

You could use text editor or hex editor to look at them to see if they are similar. It would at least tell you if one is built on the other. I would recommend that you only try our rev 9 if you want to use the usb loader. if you have an hdd around, it is a real life savor and I believe that an 8-9 gig flash drive will let you download the entire SSBB onto it if you can find someone nice enough to get it for you to download. I would solve all of the media problems with burning also.

I have a similar question to this but regarding cIOS36. How would I check to see the current installed version? I'm pretty sure someone's going to tell me just to run the installer for the latest version and be done with but I want to be able to verify that it went through properly.

Is there some "About" info button I can click to easily see the current versions of all c/IOSxx installed?

    Ok

Can someone briefly explain how I should upgrade rev7 to rev9. Ok

What I did was I copied the cIOS36_rev9-Installer.dol file into the cIOS_Installer folder. Then deleted the cIOS36_rev7.

Run the cIOS installer 1.4 in homebrew channel selected WAD INSTALLATION.

After a couple of seconds said patching done is this correct?

Another thing as I have 3.2E will the USB LOADER work ??

    Yes. That's correct.
