Exclamation Sound stutter in cut scenes in games (SMG/WW:SM)?

    Hello everyone.

I've never posted here before since I'm new to this site, but it's awesome.

A little about me and my Wii.

I just got a Wii and it had the 3.4U firmware. The thing is I got the new DriveKey - which is supposed to be issue-less, even with Firmware 4.0 - but in my case for some odd reason I could only play games older than 2008. The guy who modded the computer for me was surprised that I had to downgrade my firmware since he recently installed DriveKey on a 4.0 machine without problems, played all backups.

But anyway, now I have Firmware 3.2E. I'm using an european PAL version of Wii.

I've tried two games where the sound stutters during cut scenes/intro. Super Mario Galaxy and WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

I followed this guide to the letter to downgrade my Wii:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...atutorial.html

This downgrade allowed me to play all games, even SSBB, but the two games mentioned above have stuttering sound (and possibly a slight stutter in video as well) during cut scenes/intro.

I've already tried the options in OS gecko (force NTSC/PAL60/PAL50) without luck (though I got some better colors with the force NTSC - guess I'm using a NTSC version of SMG).

It would be most appreciated if anyone knows of a fix to those sound disturbances

    Regards,
    Mythoughts

It's likely because the games are running in 3x instead of 6x. My issues with SMG were resolved using the new USB Loader v1.1. Seems to be running in full speed now straight from the HDD.

Oh thanks! Does that even affect me when I don't use Homebrew to launch SMG, but only the DriveKey? Any way of fixing that without launching through homebrew?

as far as i know drivekey only reads the backups at 3x the same as a softmod. i believe the only chip that reads at 6x is the zero. also running games off usb loader will correct the issue

Thanks! So the new ISO that comes with the USB Loader (1.1) - is it save to install even though I have DriveKey (I mean it doesn't affect it does it?)?

All the help is most appreciated guys.
