    some info about hbc

    Hello to all,
I am new the forum and in the hb
I would like some information ...
Given that own a wii with PAL WIIKEY
    Updated to version 3.4

I just want to install some wad files so:

    1) Do I have to install the hbc and wad manager to install the wad?
    2) the wad can be installed on the SD through the wad manager?

    3) There may be problems such brick and install the hbc?
    4) I read that some have been BANNATI by the WFC, I did not understand that the case was that they had installed the hbc or because the latter had made through the cheat on the game.

    Thank you for your help

    THANKS!!!
    It helped me sooo much...

So i could be banned only if I apply cheat! and I'm no interested in cheating (I hate cheat!)

No other damage on the console I could delete the hbc in any time?
    Without damage?

    another question...
I care about the free space on my wii...tre hbc need many blocks?can I install hb on my sd...I just want to install just what I need on my wii...

The problem of all this is that I read that I have to check internet always before upgrade through n i n t e n d o update service...
I am just fear of upgrade my console accidentaly (maybe with a game) and ruin my wii because of the hbc and the new upgrade are incompatible..

    thank for the help

You can delete the homebrew channel anytime without causing any damage, it doesn't take up many blocks (11), you can't install it to an SD card and updates won't damage your wii unless they are from a disc with a different region from yours.

ooooooops seems like i messed up! I was smokin when i answered you first question! The answer to 2 is no! Wads aren't installed to your SD card, they are installed to your wii's memory but can be removed as easily as they are installed. I dunno what tickets are...think they are something to do with wads that you install?....edit: TICKETS...still dunno what they are! lol

    ahahah thanks anyway...
I didn't understand what tickets are but I think it's not important!!

It's a pity that we can't install wad on sd...so on sd you can only insert wad that in next time will be installed on wii...
So if the sd card is inserted or not the wad are always installed!

Maybe with a new release of wad manager with the system menu 4 we can installa wad on sd

Thanks to Doodeggs I will installa hbc today...

I'd admit that I'm a bit afraid. In particular for the wfc....

Someone said that you will be banned if you have hbc installed because wfc read the log in your activities,...
Someone else says that you will be banned if you use hbc to cheating in the game...

    I'm a bit confusing....

    Anway if:

    • Install hbs and wad manages is safe
    • Install and uninstall wad of my region is safe
    • Go on wfc is safe

    I'm really calm

You will be safe! as long as you do not cheat on wfc you have nothing to worry about.
