lol! whats is going to take to convince you? Burners do wear out, they have lots of moving parts. Its either burner or discs, have you tried anything to remove discs from equation?

HEHEHE your not paying attention are you im going away now!!! the cost of a burner is nothing against the cost of a retail priced game soooooo if it only burned 10 games you would still be in credit against the cost of a burner but your burner is FOOKED seriously if you dont want to take my word for it thats no problem struggle on wasting discs makes no odds to me only giving you the benifit of my mistakes

Hi, I have a similar problem. I've got THC setup and all, with the wad's etc... The only problems I'm having is I've had absolutely no success with burning the .iso's onto a dvd. I've tried DVD+R, DVD-R, both with NERO at the lowest speeds my burner goes to. Out of 4-5 DVD's, none of them work. 2 of them (I believe DVD+R's) go to the first white splash screen with teh Wii information on how to hold the controller, but then just dont load after that. Apart from using IMGBURN on a low burn speed, is there anything else I can do? MUCH help is appreciated! In device manager, my DVD is: PBDS DVD+- RW DH-16W1S

It turns out, when i changed the CD's in the equation to Sony DVD-R'S, my burns have been continually good ^_^
