    it does sound like its dying, i've had issues like that before.

    unless you are using poor media.... what dvd's are you using?

    You could try takin some of you DVDRs and burning them on a m8s/familys burner and see if they work?

    The thing is, ive only burned around 24 DVD's,and it started messing around the 5th one ._.

    Im using verbatims Digital Movie DVD-R's

    what ever on that burner?

    which burning prog you using? try imgburn at a low speed and don't use your PC at all while it's burning, just set it going and leave it alone till it's done. also make sure you got nothing running in the background

    Cheap discs do it fo me

    I use asda dvd + and tesco - disk burn at 4x using nero 8. it does sound like your burner may be struggling. you can get a drive for 20, or try burning faster, ive read a lot of people saying that burning too slow causes problems?

    Im still not sure how a burner can die after 4-5 uses o_O. And im probably going to start using nero, i used to use imgburn, but i think now anymore >_<

    ITS YOUR BURNER!!! trust me..... was it new when you got it and even if it was you may have got a duff one it happens if it was new take it back coz its shagged trust me
