    WAD problem

    Hello to everyone.

I have a Wii PAL on 3.2E with HBC and everything working properly (Backup gamma is working great), except that when I install wad applications that come up as channels after the installation, their channels crash to Wii menu right after starting.

I would appreciate any kind of help.

P.S. I use starfall with all the options installed
    Thanks in advance

Can you load & run wads via the homebrew browser ?
Have you used the search function ? used the Tutorial section ?

Did you know you can donate to help the running of this forum ?

    No..........
What I want to know is

Can you download and launch a wad from there

If you can then the problem lies with the wads you WERE trying to use
There's a logical sequence to fault finding

Ok I downloaded and installed Rick Dangerous and DOOm, and both are working ok. But as I saw the installation made a new application in my apps folder on my SD card. Everything there works great as they are dol files. I'm having problem running the channels that are produced by installation of wad files.

And by saying that, I have to ask you something that may sound rather silly, but is a wad file a pre-installed version of a dol file?

Wad: more or less the exe of the wii, they are just installer, there are currently 3 types, IOS, Virtual console, and wiiware, they can brick your wii but its very rare.

.Dol: current program format for the homebrew channel, its supported on all newer, and should work on all older Homebrew channels.

    Still nothing my friend...
    I reinstalled both 53 and 55 ios's.
I tried ios 19,36,38,53,55,249(same as 36 sofar right?) and nothing worked. I mean, they all installed correctly but none of them fixed my issue. :/
