    Wad Help

I was using the tut on wads to try to get a wii ware wad to work. I did the tutorial and installed it to a channel. when i start on it tho, my wii resets. A lot of things say cios 37 may help other people. However, installing this is not part of the tut, and noob that I am I don't know what to do. Not really sure that is what I need. Lemme know how hard I fail.

Have looked through a million threads and there seems to be a rule against saying explicitly how to install cios 37. All the other cios seem to be wad and need installed with wad installer. This one is not a wad. Plz help

Step1. Download "IOS37-64-v2070.wad" seperately and place on the Root of your sd card.
Step2. Download the Cios 37 installer and place in the apps folder and rename the cios 37 installer file to boot.dol
step3. Load Cios installer from HBC home menu and follow prompts and you now have cios 37 installed

ok i found this and it seems ok, only thing i dont understand is which file to rename, i guess it is the cIOS37_rev2-Installer.dol. Plz someone confirm this

i have NO idea of what you are trying to do, so search next time because i am probably not going to be as easy.....

matter o fact look through http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...t-proof-o.html
then if you have ?'s come back and ask... if you start another thread about it i will lose it

I am a noob, but don't be mean. I am sorry if i wasn't clear.

I have searched... i was using the tutorial that you just linked.

I did steps .1 to 15. Lets say I installed Dr. Mario. It appeared as a channel and I clicked start in order to play the game... but my wii reset back to the main menu. Clearly it's not working.

To solve my problem i read the comments. Somewhere in 9 pages of them admiral victorinox said, "nstall cios 37 and hope for the best " to someone with what sounds like a similar although not identical problem.

I had a ton of difficulty figuring out how to do this, but eventually in another thread someone said, "Step1. Download "IOS37-64-v2070.wad" seperately and place on the Root of your sd card.
Step2. Download the Cios 37 installer and place in the apps folder and rename the cios 37 installer file to boot.dol
step3. Load Cios installer from HBC home menu and follow prompts and you now have cios 37 installed".

So I was trying to do that. However i didn't exactly understand which file exactly needed renamed, so I am inquiring if it is the cIOS37_rev2-Installer.dol.

I don't really know if I need to install cios 37 or not b/c I am a noob. But that is what I came up with when doing what your advice is and searching.

Ok which of these files are you saying to put into custom wad manager?

    A) cIOS37_rev2-Installer folder containing many items
    B) ios37-64-v2070.wad
    C) cIOS37_rev2-Installer.dol
    D) cIOS37_rev2-Installer.elf

These are all of the files that I downloaded

Ok i guess ignore the above post and go back to semi-original questions

1 - why does my wii go back to the wii menu evertime i try to load wii ware?

2 - if cios 37 is the answer how, explicitly, do i install it?

When you say "whole cios installer foler" do you mean cIOS37_rev2-Installer? That is the file that admiral victorinox linked as cios 37 in his tutorial.
