How can I make burned games videos run smooth?

Like the intro and cutscenes of the games I burn are always all clunky and slow when I play them.

    I use the Wii Loader

    Anyway to fix this?

Yes, you can install a chip so that the games run at x6 speed as opposed to x3 speed for software loaders............slower it loads, more clunky it looks on screen

hope it helps, thank me if it does

You could always try burning the games onto Verbatim disks and at slower speeds x4 or even x2 to help your drive read the disk better........

For sure these simple idea will help

There's a few things that affect this -

1....Quality of the ISO ( a scrubbed game "can" have scenes removed)
2....Quality of the Media you are burning on to
3....Age of the burner & the speed at which you burn the disk
4....Although Soft - modding runs the dvd at 3x (modchips can also be slowed to 3x for problem games) as opposed to the Wii's original game speed of 6x this has hardly if any effect.

Wii games are NOT dvd's but "optical disks"....... the file structure is completely different to a dvd...... that's why only certain LG drives can read them

The Wii was originally intended to be released with DVD video playability (all standalone dvd players use 3x speed) but then the big N decided against it - they never removed all of the code & it is this that the coders tagged on to, to allow back ups to be played - so stop whining and be thankful

so is that a their is a no way to fix it?

Cause Im running Tatsunoku vs. Capcom and the cutscenes are all slow and I soft modded my Wii. The gameplay itself is perfect speed but the loading times take a really long time

I have Tatsunoko vs capcom and nothing slow or choppy for me burned at 2X on maxell dvd-r. I also have a softmodded wii. Like Rossy said could be media issue, quality of iso, burn speed, etc... I myself can suffer with the cutscenes being choppy or slow, as long as gameplay is not affected.

Are Memorex DVD-Rs good for Wii backup games?

Cause I just bought a 50 CD pack for them,

Or should I just take it back and get the Sony DVD-Rs instead?

I bought them at Staples, they only had Sony, Memorax, and the staples brand.
