How to get apps etc on Wii menu

How can I get my apps and emu's etc to show up on the main Wii menu instead of having to launch them thru the homebrew channel and off of my SD card? Is this possible?

edit: did some reading and it sounds like wad manger is what I need. But, how do I get .wad files? I want to install the n64 emulator (Wii64) on my Wii menu

The Homebrew channel springs to mind
Have you used the search function ? used the Tutorial section ?

Did you know you can donate to help the running of this forum ?

You need to download WADder on your computer just google it. Then input the .dol file of the app you wanted, the logo, the image and banner of your choice you want for the app to show up on the menu as and the sound you want it to play when you launch it. Make sure to use the right size of images and a sound that isn't too long then give it some time and voila you have a WAD!

This is really for advanced users.

Most WADs you could want can be found either here or @ WADder - Index page

    Hopes this helps!
