my Wii settings say 3.2E. so it was correctly, yes?

I think you may have to wait for Modderman to pick up on this thread or see if the Admiral relents and rejoins the scene.

having changed my region from US to European confused me a little as to what and when will brick my now changed Wii.

and no thank you to modchips. I don't like opening it up and having someone tinker with the hardware.
    some idea on chip-mod DIY:
    open the wii 4 minutes
install & solder the wires of mod 10 minutes
test and install hbc + apps 5~10 minutes
    re-assembly the wii 5 minutes
    enjoy !

shame we don't know beforehand which games from other regions we can play and which ones we can't.
is there something like a list with games that have updates that would f-up your Wii?
i got some us b/u and pal b/u, all without blockbreaker, load and run well at disc channel on Jap wii. yet, u don't want to gamble with bricks. lol

check the region codes in game number xxxYxx. Y is J/U/P/E. J=jpn, U=usa, E/P=europe. use HexEditor, or Imgburn to read it out, and mark ur b/u's. e.g. the game number of puzzle_collection is RPCE20.....look at the E and mark it.
