    Bomberman 64 is way better than other bomberman, so we want that one!

    By the way! why isn't this game on the Virtual console list?
    Because that game uses a ton of hacks to run properly. Thus, the Nintendo 64's hardware not only needs to be emulated, but all of its glitches do, too. It's really hard, which is why on a PC emulator, even, only a specific set of plugins with 1964 will actually even let you see everything.

    I'll give it a shot and see if I can figure it out.

    Haven't tried that game on wii64 yet but you could look into it now that the beta 1.1 is out.
    Damn I suck!!!!

    Hello, I was the person who posted that video, Heres a quote from my video Description:

    "The host wad that was used was a modified version of Super Mario 64. After countless failed injections in other wads (Sin&Punishment, and Star Fox64) we found that the engines found in both Mario 64 and Bomberman 64 were similar, not identical. After some coding and hexing of the Super Mario 64 engine, namely physics, camera control, and AI; (found through the original Roms of Mario64 [not wad] and Bomberman 64) we were able to use it as the new host for the VC-injected Bomberman 64.

    Using the new modified Mario 64 rom, we injected that one into a virgin Mario 64 wad. Testing the gameplay of the injection to see that it would run, we then injected the Bomberman 64 rom into the modified Mario 64 wad. Then viola! Bomberman 64 being able to successfully run as a VC-injected game."

    Of course, the game has some ups and downs;

    The game works very well in multiplayer, and even has the ability to use the custom costumes. The way those work is that we used some unused slots in the game's code to successfully (though admittedly glitchy) save three "profiles" for costumes to load. I honestly do not use them often as it will end up freezing the game after about 3-5minutes in battle mode.
    Also, single-player mode works well, but not that great. Sometimes it has slowdowns, dips in framerate/frameskipping, as well as graphical glitches. Sometimes they are very minor, or even unnoticable, but they can be very annoying and kinda kill the gameplay experience. For the most part, however, the game is a lot more playable than if you tried to run it in Wii64.

    We didn't release the game for two reasons,
    1) My friend who actually spent his time and effort was beginning to get hacked by some individuals so they can locate the file on his computer, though it wasn't too much of a big deal initially, they eventually started to steal personal info he had stored on his computer.
    2) The project was initially a "proof of concept" that if you edit the 'source' rom (not wad), and inject the edited rom into said wad (ex: edited Mario64 rom injected into virgin Mario64 wad) you can help increase compatibility.

    Sadly, I do not have the wad, nor have it installed in my Wii anymore (space is an issue you know), plus I do not have the coding/hexing experience to make the wad myself. But I hope the method that my friend used is enough to help anyone out there.
