Question Have HBC & loaders on 2gb SD card, loaders won't detect partition/game. Total noob.

So a friend of mine put Homebrew Channel and 4 loaders on my Wii. (USB Loader Gx, Configurable USB Loader, Neogamma, and Wiiflow). He had games (not sure of what type of file extension they were) on an ext hard drive but he left town and took the hard drive with him, and I can't contact him for help because he doesn't have an actual phone. So I bought a 16gb USB Flash Drive. My friend left me a 2gb SD card with all the loaders on it, but no games on the SD card. I used to have the Call of Duty Black Ops game for Wii, but my best friend's cousin stole it while it was at her house. So I've been trying to play that game because I have the save game.

However, to test if everything worked with the loaders and my USB, I tried using the New Super Mario Bros file my friend left on my computer, but I can't get it to work. I extracted the game files with WinRar, but when I extracted it, it became an Application file (.exe). I didn't think that was right so I'm a little stuck here. I downloaded WBFS Manager 3.0 onto my computer and formatted the USB with that, as well as formatting it with Disk Management, to make sure it is selected as a primary, active partition. I also tried formatting it as a FAT32. All formats were successful, so I moved on like I read to online. My USB will also not load onto WBFS manager.

Could that be another potential problem? I guess I just need more help with the correct steps to getting the game files to work with the loaders.

I've looked up countless guides, but none of them really help because I don't know where to start. I don't know where to start because half of the process is already done for me, i.e. my friend putting the loaders and HBC on the Wii. I don't think there's anything wrong with the SD card that has the loaders and HBC on it, because we'd used it before and it worked perfectly. I just need to know how to get the game files structured on the USB correctly and all that other jazz.

If a system check is helpful, I will be more than happy to provide that. I believe I have to do that through the Homebrew Channel, is that correct?

Any comments, tips, or help is GREATLY appreciated.

Have another read of those rules that you accepted and you will see that we don't support piracy.

Who said anything about piracy? I know the rules. I did NOT download any pirated files myself. I'm simply using a file that my friend copied to my computer off of his hard drive. (Whether that file was pirated or not, I don't know.) I'm only using that Super Mario Bros file to test, because it doesn't need a nun-chuck to play. Call of Duty Black Ops does require a nun-chuck, which I do not currently have.

Therefore, I'm not going to go buy a nun-chuck if I don't even know that this will work. I need to figure it out first.

I BOUGHT CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS WITH CASH, AT A STORE. The savegame is already on my Wii for CODBO. My CODBO disc was STOLEN from me, and I want to play it again, without having to buy another CODBO disc. I'M NOT TRYING TO PIRATE. JUST WANT MY GAME BACK...

Is that clear enough for you, or should I drop to a third grade reading level?...

If you don't own the disk, that's piracy.

Therefore, you no longer own it.

Pissing off a mod is a good way to get banned. Let's see who's willing to go through with their threats, shall we?

@dp: thread closed, don't make another one on this subject. And read those rules. Insulting a staff member is a specific rule that's enforced here, and that's a permanent 10 point infraction that would always remain in effect on your account. I'd not test llaffer's patience or attempt to split hairs (that aren't there to split).
