^^ This is my impression of the situation as I've been following it for some time now. Basically it's all in the eyes of the end user. Who knows, maybe they'll find another exploit that Nintendo can't or will have a harder time fixing.

In my opinion don't bother is will be hacked or not. I'm certain that many people hacked WiiU for them own but they don't wanna to support piracy so no hack has been publicized. WiiU hack hasn't been released for a long time because there are easier way to have good time and fun programming on raspberry or android devices. Drivers and programs are given free so only your imagination is your limit.
