    GameCube backup help

Hi all. I am breaking my head and I just dont know what to do anymore

I have followed several tutorials on how to play GC backups on the Wii and none work. I loaded games from Dios Mios app in the HBC and all I get are black screens. I installed the MODIFIED "CFGV71beta34" to load the GC games, and I can select them, but either they go BLACK SCREEN or hang and just never move.

I am wondering if someone who actually has the GC loader Dios Mios working properly can help me out? Maybe over TeamViewer, or IRC, or whatever they can communicate back and forth with me.

The last TUT I followed was on YouTube, I don't know if I can post LINK but it had to do with PIMP MY WII and after that, I installed the WADs I needed and all should be working. But it just not. Not 1 game will load. And I am loading like Super mario galaxy and brawl.

Thanks, and I hope someone can help me out.

That's because you used Pimp My Wii. Pimp My Wii is known to cause issues...I don't know why people still use it, my guess is your mod is very messed up. Your courses of action are below:

    1) Post a SysCheck so we can see just how bad the YouTube guide had you screw your system up.

    2) Follow our Softmod ANY Wii guide linked in my signature to get a real Softmod.

If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

You are using a very old version of CFG. Unless the Dios Mios's version you are using is just as old, it won't work.

And if you're trying to use a CFG version that old, your mod is likely crap.

I would suggest getting the latest and greatest of everything.

Start with remodding your system with Softmod Any Wii guide. Don't uninstall, delete, or format anything. Just mod it on top of the way it is now.

Be sure to include the App Pack at the end, they may not be the latest and greatest, but recent enough to work.

Check the FAT32 guide for tips on how to format your USB drive, ensuring that it is formatted with 32k clusters (this is not an option, this is a requirement, or Dios Mios will fail).

Then finally, check the Dios Mios guide for installing DM and additional steps on how to prepare and install your GameCube games to the hard drive.

Links to all guides mentioned above, and for downloads of the three latest USB Loaders that will work with Dios Mios 2.10 (and a link to download DM 2.10) all exists in my signature.

Follow item #2 in post #2. d2x-V10beta52 isn't recommended for one thing.

I decided to resoftmod the Wii...and did another syscheck.. Would I be able to play GC games now? I already followed all the tuts and none worked. I cant use Devolution, but I would like to see if anyone could help me install Dios Mios or Nontendont (whichever plays more games). This is what I got now

I don't know what guide you used to remod, but you still have a beta 10 cIOS out there, plus you are missing 245 through 248.

I think 52 should be stubbed, many of your other IOSs are patched with NAND access that shouldn't.

while I don't think that any of that will prevent you from playing GameCube games, it still isn't anywhere near what we consider to be current.

Did you look at the guides that I explained above?
