Question Help selecting a USB hard drive for GameCube games.

Hey. I'm a newbie, I'm all soft-modded and ready to go. Could anyone recommend a small HDD (I'm talking like 200GB tops) for playing GameCube games? I like to use NeoGamma loader with Devolution. I'd ,prefer to not need external power. I saw the compatibility list, but I have read some drives are not friendly to some loaders and vice-versa. Any advice would be appreciated. I may throw some NES and SNES home-brew on the drive as well.

I read the tutorials already on how to get the games onto the drive. I just want a hand selecting a decent drive. Thanks!

You really should go with externally powered. I have experienced much unreliability with USB powered drive on the Wii.

I think it rare to fine a drive that would not work. There is a thread dedicated to hard drive compatibility if you are concerned about your drive not working.

You just need to watch our for Hard drives that have power saving features for the most part. My Seagate had this problem but the software that came with allowed me to turn off that feature and it has worked perfectly since.
