    Can't plays games from USB!

    Hello! Long time lurker here.

I recently decided to get back into gaming on the wii and discovered that my Brawl disc wasn't being read by my Wii anymore. I ended up buying a 1TB hard drive and an SD card. My hard is compatable and is formated to fat32 with 32kb cluster.

I believe I downloaded the current CIOS but I also see a bunch of people posting their logs so I went ahead and downloaded syschecker!

    sysCheck v2.1.0b19 by Double_A and R2-D2199, Nano

Did you check out the FAT32 guide that recommends how to format and install content?

Yes I did. My hard drive is Toshiba and the model number is v73600-c. I downloaded EaseUS but it kept getting stuck at around 21-27 percent. But when I formatted it with wii back up manager, it worked. My hard drive is formatted to FAT32 with 32kb clusters

We have a list of compatible (and not compatible) hard drives. I'm not at my PC to get the link from IRC-bot, but if you search for it, you should find it. See if your hard drive is in the list (if not listed, doesn't mean it's not compatible, only that it hasn't been reported on in the past).

But the fact that EaseUS couldn't format it bothers me a little. That's our preferred tool for formatting hard drives.

It's not on the list, but all boot loaders detect it other and USB loader GX but whenever I try and run the game, it goes to a black screen and restarts.

And EaseUS seems like intense ad-ware

Nobody ever told this user to install that particular set of cIOS; user did not fully follow our guide. d2x-V10 alt (BETA) is not the result of following a wiihacks guide.

I did that tutorial completely but it didn't work either so I Google around and read somewhere that I should use v10 beta. I tried normal and alt.

What's the next step from here?

Sounds like a game rip problem vs a cIOS problem to me.. Try ripping a known playable game to the drive and see where that gets you.

Hmm. I'll try it with Wii Sports or something!

I ended up getting my HDD to work EaseUs!So I'll use Wii Backup Manager to see if Wii Sports works!

Well I tried the whole Dios Mios Gamecube thing and Melee didn't work. So We'll see about Wii Sports! Any other ideas if this doesn't work? Cause I do wanna play Brawl =/

Just try what we suggested first, then we can go from there...
