Can't run gamecube games, but can run wii games?

hi so i transferred a wii game to my USB with wii backup manager and finally got it working, and i transferred a gamecube game with dm toolbox, but it doesn't work. this is probably an issue with dios mios bc thats required to run gamecube through loaders, but i installed v2.10 wad and all that happens is i lose the ability to run discs with the wii, and i run the mios 10 wad to fix that. i'm running the compatible versions of the loaders, so idk where the problem is but dios mios isn't working for me. when i run Disc Menu to play w/e gamecube game is in the wii, should i see a dios mios splash screen? cause that only happened when i had Lite installed, never with DM. i've since uninstalled lite and got DM because i'm trying to run games from the usb

I recommend checking out our Dios Mios guide, alternatively you could also look into devolution for USB loading GC games:

Devolution guide is found in my signature.

Yeah I've read the dios mios guide, that's where I'm coming from. I've tried everything there and nothing's working. The problem is my Melee iso is not working but Brawl is. I don't think using Devolution addresses the problem at all

You don't think it will, but have you tried?

Where did you place the output of DMToolbox on your USB device? If you put it in the wrong place, it won't work.

You can also use GX or CFG to directly rip the GameCube disk and it will properly install in the correct place (if you have the latest verisons, which are linked in my signature).

Yeah I trie dDevolution with basic loader and CFG, but Melee's still not being read, do I have to partition the USB and separate Brawl from Melee? I got Brawl working through wii backup manager in the wbfs folder, and put melee in games\GALE01

The same partition is recommended. Is the partition a non-logical, active partition? Is it FAT32 with 32k clusters?

Theoretically, if your games worked with DML, they should work with DM as long as your setup is exactly the same (same folder structure, same version DM, same dumps, etc.). Are you sure the only difference is DM vs. DML and USB vs. SD?
