a tool kit? can you explain. I did a systems check in wiimod and it wrote this.

*mmm stopped being able to boot from sd as well (working now, stopped for a bit). Got bootmii to run but cannot boot any dol or elf files. Able to Nand dump to my sd. Had a few bad blocks but it fixed them i believe.

Try this. Download the IOS update pack from the softmod any Wii guide and extract it to your SD card. Load wiimod. At the bottom in wiimods menu select load another ios, and load 36. Then select wad manager. Select the wad folder, then the ios update folder. Batch install all wads in that folder.

After that, try to install the homebrew channel again.

Froze like in your first pic? The installer itself ran but it froze during the HBC installation?

Ok, Im going from memory here, so forgive me if something is out of place. It should be pretty close to correct though.

First off, make sure you are using hackmii v1.1.0, NOT 1.1.2 which is the one downloaded from bootmii.org. You can get 1.1.0 from the ANY Wii guide, softmods with homebrew channel installed spoiler. Download that pack.

Now, heres where my memory is fading lol. Launch WiiMod and go to Advanced Menu. Select System Channel Titles (??) Select Any Title Manager. Look for a title with the ID of HAXX or JODI. If you can find that, delete it! If its not there, look everywhere else.

Someone obviously modded your system at some point in the past based upon the info you provided with WiiMod. So my last guess here is that they improperly deleted the HBC and remnants of it are causing the new installation to fail. If you can find either of those IDs and can delete them, you might be able to get HBC to install again.

I could not find the IDs you stated above but when I go into installed channel titles it says
"(4c554c5a) *failed to read*+ title does not seem to match region(normal for fakesigned titles/forwarders)-Failed to get TMD size possibly a bad title"
    Should I delete this?

Yep, delete that bastard!!!! That is actually the hex value for a different version of the HBC! Hopefully that will end this madness!

Did not work. just keeps putting the bad title back in installed channels. I tried both hackmii v1.1.0 and 1.1.2 (1.1.0 first). In system channel titles there is two copies of the weather, photo and news channels (HAFA & HAFE weather ; HAGA & HAGE news; HAAA & HAYA-v1.1 Photo). Is this normal?

That sounds like a region change issue (the two dupes)...I'm no expert at all on that, but if you can boot normally to the system menu I don't see a huge issue at the moment with it.

Try booting Any Title Deleter and see if that will let you kill that title. Sorry I'm not in front of the PC at the moment otherwise I would link it, but you should be able to find it easily via Google.
