    IOS Downgrader error! ret=-1

    I am trying to downgrade my 3.4j to 3.2j, so ive done all the twilight hack -> HBC and installed the IOS stuff etc. that is needed to downgrade. When i run IOS Downgrader it recognises my network fine but when i go to download tickets, it gives me error! (ret=-1). ive tried redoing the process many times, but each time the same error comes up. I'm not sure if its because of firewalls on my router that i need to remove for the wii to connect properly to download. I am able to use wiiconnect24 and weather stuff but just cant get it to download the tickets that i need to downgrade my wii.

    Please Help!!

    Exact same situation and error for me too. I have a Wii with 3.4J and I can't downgrade. Can use weather channel and shopping channel fine but can't use IOS Downgrader 1.2 Once I got the error ret = -116 , but same result. If I can resolve the issue I'll let you know.

    What size SD card are you using? I have heard of problems using cards that are sdhc or bigger than 2gb. Did you try another card?

    Managed to downgrade the menu to 3.2J using IOS Downgrader v1.1
    v1.0 and v1.2 didn't work for some reason.

    I'd just like to say that I'm having the exact same problem;
    My internet is fine.. and I was using 1.0 then tried 1.1 and it still didn't work;

    However, I didn't get an error, my download just sort of froze... I let it on for a long time and it never got past the first ticket.
    I cold shut the Wii... I'm not sure if I should try again or what.

    This happend to me when doing it for a mate.
    I just help the power button and turned the wii off.
    Disconected from the power plug at back for 10 seconds and put it back in.
    Powered it up and tried again and it worked no dramas.
    The whole proccess seemed to take a whole lot long tho and it was a 3.3 not a 3.4 like mine so ultimatelly should of been a faster process.

    I was a litle bit scared tho like urself if what if it got to 1 ticket and then failed......
    Luckily it didnt but it did like go ticket 1-15 then to 69 then to 16 and hung for a litle longer than was comfortable but got through it then the install did exactlythe same thing.
    It was soooooooooooooo much faster the first time I did it
