First off, if you modded your system based on a youtube video, you should remod it using our guide: Softmod Any Wii.

After that, what exactly are you wanting to do with your modded system? Depending on the answer to that will determine what the "next move" will be.

If you read the guide, you'd not be asking this question (it overwrites whatever previous softmod you had).

Easy does it! Didnt have any problems with the guide. Everything installed. Just a couple questions that i want to be sure about, Once i format my hdd can i transfer everything that has been installed from my sd? Also do i need to run a usb app inorder to use my hdd which means i need my sd still in my wii to use the hdd?

You can load apps from Hard drive. The Hard Drive has to be FAT32. Copy the /apps directory from your sd card to the /apps directory of the hard drive, then load HBC. Press "1" to bring up options and tell it to look for USB instead of SD card. When you select it and press OK, it should find the apps found on your hard drive.

That is completely up to you. If you don't think you'll use it, delete it. If you want to keep it, you can move it.
