Wii Remotes will not Sync??????......Hacked Wii

    Hi,

I have just recently bought 2 new remotes to try, as my originals stopped working. The Wii hasnt been used for over a year, and when I tried to pair the controls, they just wouldnt pair.

All they do is flash the 4 player lights, the 1 lights stops flashing then they all stop, and nothing else.

Is this an issue to do with hacking the Wii?? How can I sort this, does anyone know?

I have no idea about the Wii, or the hacking etc now. Too many years have passed and I just followed online instructions but not had any bother since doing the hack, up until now?!!

    Thanks in advance.

    Darren

What program is running when you try to pair the new remotes to your system?

If you are in HBC or another home brew app, you probably won't be able to sync them from there.

You will have to work your way back to the Wii Menu in order to pair new remotes.

Is this a Wii that has GameCube ports? You can usually use a GameCube controller to back out of the Loaders and HBC to get back to Wii Menu.

I didn't think of trying that. Glad you were able to get things sorted out.
