How to turn .wad into channel

I downloaded some WiiWare games from the Internet for if/when I need a new Wii. The only problem is, it looks like I need to put a wad loader on my Wii and load them through there. I don't want that; I want them to look like actual games on my Wii. How do I turn the wad into the right file type for the Wii to recognize as a channel?

I thought installing a wad automatically gave you a channel.

There is a guide called dios mios and emulated NAND that I think covers this.

I think I did this successfully, backup the NAND on one wii, use show mii wads on the computer to pack the vc game to a wad, install it on the other wii. I had problems with some games though and couldn't find much help, specifically ocarina of time wouldn't work because show mii wads freaked out over the ":" in the game title.

You need to setup some type of emunand for that.

So this guide? http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...ers-guide.html or this one? http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...ated-nand.html

I was mainly looking to play VC and Wiiware off of an HDD. The same FAT32 HDD I have all my Wii games currently on.

Yeah I have the emunand setup like in that guide. Compatibility isn't the greatest, I have a couple of games that don't work. I have heard using SNEEK has better compatibility, I would like to try that but haven't found any guides that I would trust * hint hint*
