Was your Wii always @ 4.1, or did you downgrade from 4.3? If your Wii has never been on 4.3, did you download and install the IOSupdate pack in the guide?

When I bought the Wii, it was already on 4.3U. It was behaving that way before the downgrade to 4.1U. I saw a guide that made it possible to "clear everything" to be able to start anew since a few IOS (I'm pretty sure that it was IOS58 and IOS36) that were on the Nand were modified (according to Pimp My Wii anyway) and couldn't be used. I then reapplied everything else from the guide that you had posted along with the hints given here and it didn't change anything. Right now, I have the Wii still sitting on the HackMii installer v1.0 screen presented in the screenshot moments ago. Judging from the drive date, it was a pretty old Wii from 2006.

Ah... so this Wii has been monkeyed with. Did you install the IOSupdate pack or not? Based on what you're now telling me, you should. Perhaps re-do the guide from beginning to end including the IOSUpdate pack. As that occurs AFTER HBC install, perhaps then remove HBC and reinstall it to see if IOS 58 is now possible.

I had just now redone exactly every step in the guide, including the use of IOS Update and still get the same results. I'm at a stand still right now due to not being sure on what to do...

I've asked another to eyeball and see what the problem/solution may be just now; keep an eye on your thread to see if he may respond at some point.

The only thing I can surmise is that the installation of IOS58 somehow was corrupt. Make sure the wad directory on your sd is empty then download THIS and extract it directly to your sd card. From the HBC launch WiiMod and go to IOS Manager. Delete IOS58. Go back to WiiMods main menu and select Wad Manager. Install IOS58. Exit from WiiMod to the HBC then launch hackmii_installer_v1.0 and see if the results are different this time.

Also,Update your loaders or down grade your emulators to an earlier versions.

I still use the box art Snes /nes emulators with no prob's.

Also, are you using USB or sd to load from?

    Sent from my IPhone,Jax.

Also, did you have a look at mine Nintendo Generations guide, start fresh , you can re-format said devices.

    Back up the devices first.

@cjizzle: I have gotten HBC with IOS58 installed on the Wii. Sadly this doesn't seem to do wonders on the emulators. When I tried to delete IOS58, it displayed an ES_DeleteTicket (-1017) error, but was able to still install the WAD anyway. Is there anything else that I could possibly do?

@Jax: I had used a USB to load them on other softmodded Wii systems and they all worked fine. This particular Wii for some reason won't do it for the Nintendo emulators no matter what. I even went and copied them to my SD card to see if it was because of USB. Nothing changed. I've tried to update them with Homebrew Browser only to get the Code Dump screen when I select an emulator to download/update.

Go here to my guide...Link->"Nintendo Generations Guide" and download the emulators and install them as the guide says.

Look in my signature for "MESSIES INDEX ERROR". for the error code and follow what it says.

EDIT://Don't forget to reformat your sd/usb device to Fat16/32 or whatever seems to work.

I've downloaded the 3 Emulators from the thread and followed the instructions, but still nothing happens. I'm almost thinking that it is hopeless.
