    Rock Band 3 Disc Update

    Hai All,

I recently bought Rock Band 3 along with some of the USB Instruments, and when i put the disc in the drive it asks me for a update. I looked up what IOS it modifies, so i installed IOS 56 v5662 and no luck. I did some google searching, and was told to update IOS 37, 53, 55, 56, 57, and 58. I did all of this but no luck either. The game runs perfectly on USB Loading, except i had to install the cios X Revo 20 for DLC SD card reading. I do have Hermes cios 222 installed, but when i load it with CFG loader the Wii just freezes before the game launches. All i want is for the Disc Channel to work, so i can use that for USB instruments and SD card usage when needed. Here is a syscheck aswell. I apparently have alot of stubs....

    sysCheck v2.1.0b13 by Double_A and R2-D2199...runs on IOS58 (rev 6176).

You're SysCheck doesn't say so I'm just going to ask; do you have Priiloader or not?

You should have it. I recommend using the Softmod ANY Wii guide in my signiture to make sure your mod is all set (this guide will also have you install Priiloader which you will set to block disc and online updates, thus taking care of your issue).

The question is would the Instruments still work? I assume they would since I have the most updated IOS 56.

My Rock Band instruments work, yours should too. Just follow the guide as its written. Read it 2-3 times before trying it.

Thanks for the help. Should i just follow the Priiloader section of the tutorial or start from the beginning of the tutorial? Sorry for so many questions, I really want to do the minimal task as possible. :P

Start from Softmods with Homebrew channel already installed. You'd be wise not to skim it or try to pick and choose what you do, that's a good way to mess things up.
