    Brawl low frame rate?

Hey guys, new to the boards.

A wii with a broken lens had just fallen into my hands and I decided to try to softmod it to run games from my external HDD. I got things running with USB loader GX and am running brawl with my harddrive formatted in .wbfs format.

When running brawl though, I am getting a slight delay between all movements. I was wondering if there was any way to fix this? I searched around and saw that maybe running it with CFG loader in fat32 may be quicker? I wasn't sure tho so I figured I'd ask.

    Thanks

If you're not using CFG in FAT32, what are you using?

What kind of USB device are you using?

He said USB Loader GX (WBFS). USB HD, but he wasn't specific --- nor as to enclosure/controller.

By "delay" do you mean input lag? As in a delay between the moment you press the button and the on-screen reaction?

If it is this type of lag is almost certainly being caused by your television. Try to see if there is a gaming mode and/or turn off all type of picture proscessing smoothing etc. in your settings. Some HDTV's are worse than others for gaming and will have lag even when you do all this. No matter what I do playing punchout!! is a pain on my TV because of this but most games are not bad.
