OK...lets see who the real geniuses are (DVD error 324)
Here are the facts:
downgraded from 3.4 to 3.2
when i put in legit wii fit, automatically upgraded machine to 3.3u
have home brew channel/have backup channel
using memorex dvd-r
buring with either nero or imgburn 2.4.2
have 2 wii's next to each other
taking a sucessfully burned game and putting it in wii number one with ver 3.1-works
taking same game in putting in it wii 2 with 3.3-get dvd error 324
successfully installed cios36rev7
In serching the forums it seems there are several theories out there. I dont think cios37 rev 7 is the fix here. I am using the proper dvd's.
So, what is the true reason why I am getting dvd error 324?
You need to install the right Cios as that's exactly the same error i had.
Here, i followed this guide

Thank you....after many hours I can confirm that the 324 error really isnt an IOS issue. Changed media to TDK -R, burned with imgburn at 3x and everything now works.

i'm new to the Wii soft mod scene, and think it's great. Finally managed to get the gamma backup launcher to work,so now my 7 year old can't scratch his original discs anymore.
However the path to success was not an easy one!I too had the 324 error and assumed it was bad media. After many hours of messing about i eventually i realised it was an IOS problem.
I now have 5 working backup copies of Zelda, and three copies of the Hulk all on various media burned at different speeds with different programmes! LOL
Many thanks to this forum and its knowledgable members for all the info
so what did you eventually use to fix the problem
i been on searching and so many ways.. just blow my mind.
