Upgraded to 3.4E.....Did I do a bad thing?
I thought I'd treat myself to a Wii for my 40th on Thursday. On the big day I plugged my Wii in and messed around with the settings and discovered that I could connect my new toy to my wireless router. One thing lead to another and I was asked if I wanted to download updates. Not knowing any better I thought it would not harm things to keep the Wii up to date.
Did I do a bad thing by updating my Wii?
Since getting my shiny white box I've learnt about the Home Brew project and my little brain has gone pop with the huge learning curve for such a project.
Yesterday I ordered a copy of Twilight from a reputable site in the hope of following the tutorials on this site.
To easy my worries about feking the whole process up and ending with a very expensive doorstop, is it a good idea to downgrade my Firmware?
If so where and how would I find such info?
uhh 3.4 isnt bad its just bothersome *i hope this makes you feel better*
yes downgrading is worth it *you gain a lot*
hope your head doesnt go pop ;3
May I ask by what you mean bothersome?
I only ask because the last console I owned was a Saga Megadrive, which as you can appreciate isn't cutting edge anymore.
Even though I'm green behind the ears with all this I don't mind getting under the hood and having a go at stuff.
some things dont work via hacking anymore, so you got to do a bit more, and such
