Question Convert Brawl Save NTSC to PAL

Hey, been trying to convert my SSBB NTSC save to PAL with no luck. I always used the NTSC version but being that my Wii & now even Wii U is PAL, I got the PAL version of the game. Been searching the forums for a guide but the only ones I have found is ones that require a download of a program that is no longer available to download, or was in spanish and just didn't make a lick of sense even when translated lol , I know it involves editing with a Hex editor but I'm lost from that point so any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Hey buddy, yeah found that thread myself but the instructions aren't complete there, tried what it said but all it says there is to open up one of the files and edit with a hex editor to change a code to the Pal code (doesn't say which) with no further instructions so still stumped lol

Not a mind reader, and your post represented no knowledge of that thread whatsoever. In fact, the post you allude to doesn't even suggest you stumbled upon that post.

Sorry that wasn't clear man. Yea I've got the 2 saves extracted already, and a Hex editor ready, but no idea where to go from there with the hex editor, like what do I edit/change?

Prolly not as simple as this, but the PAL Game ID:RSBP01, the NTSC Game ID: RSBE01. Do a hex search for these; if you find the one, substitute the other (P for PAL, E for NTSC). Then save. Worth a shot...

Searched all the saved game files there, nothing showed up at all. The two sets of files came in 2 folders of "0001000052534245" & "0001000052534250" and I think the 45 is the PAL version. I tried just changing the numbers there and installing with SaveGameManager, but once I launched the game, it said the save file was corrupt.

Your searched for that string INTERNAL to the file(s) themselves via hex edit, right? I got the sense you had to alter the content (read: string) of a file. That's not via a simple rename.

Yea I was searching them all, there are a set of 9 files in each of the folders

    advsv0 , advsv1 , autosv0 , autosv1 , banner , collect.vff , net0 , net1 , wc24pubk

Someone had told me its something to do with the autosv files that hold certain region settings while the others just be copied over but no idea where to go from there like.
